Is the Trinity a Split Personality?

The Trinity is not a matter of a multiple personality disorder. In multiple personality disorder the different personalities are all facets of the same person. It is one psychologically troubled person who has these different subconscious personalities that can on occasion erupt into consciousness and assume the leading role. Sometimes one of these personalities will even be aware of the other two, for example, and talk about them. But these are all facets (manifestations) of the same person. And that's not the doctrine of the Trinity. It might provide a useful analogy maybe for thinking about three consciousnesses in one being, but it's not a good analogy for three persons in one being because these personalities are really all just aspects of one person in split personality disorder.
