Some atheists ask for evidence of every claim of theists. What is the "evidence" of eternal life, they may ask. But it seems necessary to expect to experience consequences in order to process our experiences. For how are any observations relevant to you if you will not experience consequences as a result? You are forced by the process of any rational considerations to assume you are going to live to experience consequences. If your assertion is ultimately that you will not observe consequences, because death prevents it, then that is the logical fallacy of denying the consequence. Your very words are negating any rationality which must assume that if there are premises that you observe, then there will also be consequences. You are the one defining facts as things you experience, and by asking for evidence, you are the one asserting that premises have consequences which you are defining as experience. Therefore, you are the one preaching to us that there will ALWAYS be consequences that you will experience.
