What you really should be asking is how God’s world seems to have gotten out of God’s control. With respect to religion, He appears to have only local influence at first, then asking the followers to compete against other religions started in other localities. It is clear these other revelations have some merit, otherwise they would not attract others from the human class, when some from the human class are attracted to Christianity. Man after all claims to be the “rational animal,” and it is the same human mind in operation everywhere, maintaining stable belief in this or that religion, with no easy resolution. You’re involved in a project without asking why it is so.
In essence all the religions are formulaic, with no one seeming qualified to untangle the formulas, people tending this way or that from prejudice and other irrational causes rather than anyone having the one true and easily defensibility religion a loving God without duplicity might have bestowed universally. If there is One God, why did Buddha come up with a different story than Jesus, and why have so many accepted this story? Why are there some echoes between Jesus and Buddha, rather than one or the other obviously displaying usual greedy traits of a human? You want to present the Christian formula everywhere, without verifying the formula. Jesus asked for this, but in the words of a popular song, these castles stand upon pillars of sand.
